PORTLAND -- Police announced Friday afternoon a medically endangered man who walked away from his Portland medical care facility Friday morning had been found safe.
Tim Walden, 64, was reported missing from his residential care facility in the 10400 block of Southeast Cora Street at about 3 a.m. Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson said just after 1 p.m. Walden was found.
A search and rescue K-9 team was sent to help Portland police with the search. Detectives also activated an emergency phone notification system in the area.
Simpson said Walden was found with help from the Port of Portland police, but did not release further details.
