PORTLAND -- One woman had be rescued and another drowned on the Sandy River Sunday night.
According to Lt Steve Alexander with the Multnomah County Sheriff's office, two women were floating the river and put in at Oxbow Park. Downstream something happened to one of the rafts and one of the women drowned.
The victim was identified as 50-year-old Susan Dawn LeMay, of Vancouver.
