GRESHAM - A man accused of running down a group of people outside a Gresham restaurant last week was due in court Monday.
Brad Eason, 30, faces attempted murder, assault and DUII charges after the crash at the Shari’s restaurant near Southwest Highland Drive and Powell Boulevard. Gresham police said a group of 12 people, including Eason, had left a bar and were ending their night at Shari’s when an argument started between Eason and two women.
Eason got in his Mercedes and was driving out of the lot when witnesses said they heard the car’s tires lose traction. Eason struck an SUV before driving onto the walkway and hitting the four victims, police said.
None had injuries that were life-threatening, but three were taken to the hospital.
