PORTLAND -- A wrong-way drunken driver collided head-on with another vehicle on westbound US 26 near the Oregon Zoo exit early Thursday morning, police said.
A third vehicle was also involved in the collision, which occurred at 4:40 a.m., but there were no serious injuries.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, Eric Christian Lovato, 22, was arrested and booked for DUII and reckless driving.
The accident shut down the two right lanes. Drivers on I-405 and I-5 were detoured south onto I-5 to 217 for about two hours until crews were able to re-open all lanes.
