PORTLAND – If you were planning a beautiful day of barbecuing for Memorial Day, you might want to think again.
KGW Meteorologist Rod Hill said it won’t just rain, but there will be a complete washout.
Many Memorial Day observances will be starting around 10 a.m., which is when the rain will be really coming down, so bring your umbrella.
The rain will last into the mid-afternoon from the coast to the Cascades and may break into scattered showers after 3 p.m. in the Portland Metro area.
Tuesday and Wednesday will also see rain but Thursday may see some dry weather.
