Steven Ward is used to having people ask him to 'take a little off the top.'
But the Aumsville barber never imagined it would happen to him. Ward told KGW he was cutting hair Tuesday morning at his Main street barbershop when it suddenly got really dark.
Then it started to hail and things started to shake. The next thing Ward knew, the roof went flying off.
Ward and his customer ducked for cover. The storm passed within a matter of minutes, and Ward suffered only minor cuts.
His business, Steven's Barbershop, lost its roof but Ward told KGW he was just very thankful to be alive.
