PORTLAND – The woman killed in the shooting at the Clackamas Town Center earlier this month was honored at a memorial Friday.

The memorial for Cindy Ann Yuille was held at the Montgomery Park banquet room in Northwest Portland. It started at 3 p.m. and was scheduled to last about two hours. It was open to the public.

Yuille, 54, of Northeast Portland was one of three people, including the gunman, who died in the shooting on December 11. Yuille died of a single gunshot wound to the back. A 15-year-old girl was also injured.

Yuille had a lot of friends, and even people who didn't know her came to pay their respects.

Yuille's daughter, Jenna Passalacqua, shared some lighter memories of her mom and then gave heartfelt words to her stepfather.

"To Robert, I want you to know how completely happy you made her. You showed me a happy marriage," she said.

Earlier in the week, Yuille's husband and daughter said they wanted to do their best to celebrate Cindy's life.

"She was always a goofball," Robert Yuille said. "We always felt like we had been married our whole life."

Cindy Yuille was also a hospice nurse for Kaiser Permanente.
