OREGON CITY, Ore. -- Three teens suspected of vandalizing a Oregon City private school were charged caught Thursday, thanks to public tips, police said.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning at North Clackamas Christian School at 19575 Sebastian Way, according to the Oregon City Police Department.
Three teen males entered a gated area of the school courtyard using bolt cutters. They smashed windows, ransacked lockers and spilled paint on playground equipment, police said.
At least two of the suspects' faces were caught on security cameras. Police estimate the damage to be thousands of dollars, making the crime a felony.
The teens were identified and charged with criminal mischief and theft Thursday afternoon. The teens did not attend the school that was targeted.
