TIGARD, Ore. – A car got stuck in reverse and drove into two mobile homes in Tigard Saturday morning.

The car clipped one unit and did major damage to another home at 17230 Southeast El Dorado Drive, said Sgt. Vance Stimler with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies learned the driver, 93-year-old Jack O'Rourke was backing hie Chevy Malibu out of his driveway when his shoe got wedged on the gas.

The first mobile home O'Rourke hit was unoccupied, but his car narrowly missed Danny Long who was sitting in his chair inside the second home.

"Seen as I heard that first bang, I went 'What was that?' As I moved, it cam through my window, a whole car backwards," Long said.

No one was hurt and the driver was cooperating with police.
