MEDFORD, Ore.-- A man was arrested with almost 4 pounds of methamphetamine in his car after a traffic stop on Interstate 5 north of Medford.

Erick Salvador Hernandez-Ruiz, 36, of Medesto Calif, was stopped by Oregon State Police early Sunday morning for speeding, police said.

Police then found 3.8 pounds of meth, with an estimated value of $55,000, concealed inside his vehicle. Hernandez-Ruiz was arrested for unlawful possession and distribution of a controlled substance and taken to Jackson County Jail.
