WOODBURN, Ore. -- A passenger in an SUV was injured in a rollover crash east of Woodburn Thursday, but a calf riding inside the vehicle was not hurt.
The driver of a Subaru sedan was crossing Highway 211 and failed to see a GMC Suburban moving westbound, according to Oregon State Police Lt. Gregg Hastings. The Subaru crashed into the left side of the GMC, causing it to leave the roadway and roll over in a field.
A passenger in the GMC was taken to a nearby hospital for non life-threatening injuries. The driver and two children riding in the vehicle were not injured.
A calf named "Big Mac" (pictured) was riding in a cage in the back of the GMC and was not hurt in the crash.
The driver of the Subaru was not injured.
Highway 211 was closed for about 45 minutes while investigators cleared the scene.
