VANCOUVER -- The woman struck by a A C-TRAN bus Wednesday morning has been upgraded from serious to satisfactory condition, hospital officials said.
Julia Johnson is a C-TRAN driver who was walking through the agency's yard at 2425 6th Avenue just before 5 a.m., said agency spokesman Scott Patterson.
The bus appeared to have struck Johnson within a designated pedestrian area in the yard, Patterson said.
Johnson, a 7-year C-TRAN veteran, was taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center and listed in serious condition Wednesday. She was upgraded to satisfactory condition Thursday morning.
The driver who struck her is a 28-year veteran of the company, Patterson said. She was taken off the route for the day.
