PORTLAND – Broadway Bridge will close an eastbound lane Sunday morning for the Race for the Roses.
The lane was set to close from 4:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. during the running event.
“At least one traffic lane will remain open in each direction as well as both bridge sidewalks,” said Mike Pullen, spokesman for Multnomah County.
The Northwest Broadway ramp will also be closed to cars from 4:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. between the bridge and Northwest Hoyt Street.
Drivers will be able to drive onto the bridge at Northwest Lovejoy Street.
TriMet spokeswoman Angela Murphy said 14 bus lines would be detoured until noon for the race. Riders may experience delays.
