PORTLAND, Ore. – The Sellwood Bridge will remain closed through Thursday, putting a strain on area commuters.
The Sellwood Bridge closed on Feb. 15 and remain shut down until 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20.
Crews will be drilling for anchor pilings that will secure retaining walls on the west end interchange with Highway 43.

The Steel Bridge was closed on Saturday and Sunday for overnight work by Union Pacific railroad. The closures stopped all traffic including TriMet Max train and bus lines.
