LINCOLN CITY, Ore. -- Police are investigating a body that washed ashore Tuesday morning on Gleneden Beach along the Oregon coast.

Investigators said the body was that of a man who was partially clothed and had no identification, according to Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.

A person spotted the body just after 8 a.m., near the Wallace Street beach access area, and called 911.

Police have not said if any current missing person cases match the man’s description.
