BEND, Ore. -- A body found in brush off Highway 20 east of Bend Sunday afternoon may be a woman who has been missing for a week, police said.

The investigation into Pivoyne Castro-Luna's disappearance is ongoing.

Officials have notified her family, but the identity of the body found along the road has not yet been confirmed, according to a report from KTVZ-TV in Bend.

Castro-Luna, 42, was last seen with Honorio De Horta-Frias (pictured, right).

Investigators were not calling De Horta-Frias a suspect but would like to talk with him.

The mystery deepened last week after police searched a new crime scene near Bend High School.

One neighbor told KTVZ that officers knocked on her door and asked if she had seen an RV recently parked on her street.

De Horta-Frias’ white 1979 Ford Holiday Rambler motor home was found on Janalee Place in Bend.

People living nearby told KTVZ a large vacant field beside the motor home was taped off and a forensics team could be seen removing items from the motor home.

Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation was asked to contact Bend police at 541-693-6911.
