PORTLAND – The man found dead inside a van parked in Portland’s Old Town area on August 6 died of natural causes, police said.
The van was parked near the intersection of 6th Street and Flanders. A passer-by alerted police just after 6 p.m., after noticing a foul odor coming from the vehicle, according to Lt. Robert King with the Portland Police Bureau.
An investigation followed and on Thursday, police said they did not suspect foul play.
The man's name has not yet been released.
