PORTLAND -- A semi-truck full of hamburger crashed and caught fire Tuesday, sending the driver to the hospital.
Michael Chase, 68, of Woodburn was driving eastbound on I-84 near Benson State Park when he lost control and rolled the big rig, according to Oregon State Police. A fire quickly started in the cab and trailer, and the truck was fully engulfed in flames as fire crews arrived.
Chase was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
