PORTLAND – A Beaverton father pleaded guilty to manslaughter and criminal mistreatment in the death of his infant son, according to an Oregonian report.
Robert Myers, 27, was originally arrested on murder charges after a medical examiner ruled his 7-week-old son died of asphyxia due to smothering and compression.
Investigators said there were also signs of past injuries to the infant.
