VANCOUVER – Police were searching for an armed and dangerous man Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted, robbed and kidnapped three people Tuesday morning in Vancouver. A SWAT raid Tuesday night ended with an arrest, but the suspect was still on the loose.
Nicholas Loredo was suspected of attacking, robbing and kidnapping two adults and a 17-year-old at a home in the 1200 block of V Street, according to Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.
The victims were safe and only had minor injuries. Loredo was still at large Wednesday morning, Kapp said.
At around 11 p.m. Tuesday a SWAT team surrounded a home near Northeast 71st Street and Northeast 131st Avenue, where they thought he might be. They arrested 33-year-old Tyfannie M. Kuykendall on charges of kidnapping, robbery and assaulted.
But Loredo was not there.
He was described as white, average height and weight, with a red Mohawk hairstyle and goatee. He had numerous neck tattoos.
Loredo was considered armed and dangerous, Kapp said. Anyone with information about Loredo’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Vancouver police.
