BEAVERTON -- Eight people were displaced by a 4 a.m. Friday apartment fire at 4804 S.W. Oleson Road.
Several people called 911 to report large flames coming from a third-floor balcony. Where fire crews arrived, the back deck of the third story was engulfed in flames. A second alarm was called to bring more crews.
The fire was brought under control in about 12 minutes. Third-floor units were heavily damaged by smoke and fire. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but is thought to have started on a third-floor balcony.
