PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police arrested seven protesters at Portland's main post office.
Police Sgt. Pete Simpson says workers told responding officers Tuesday that protesters concerned with labor issues tried to enter a secure area and were told to leave.
A scuffle then broke out between a protester and a postal inspector. The seven protesters were charged with criminal trespassing.
Members of the group Portland Communities and Postal Workers United have spent the past year fighting postal service cutbacks.
