SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A narcotics team in Lane County has seized more than 50 pounds of methamphetamine, worth an estimated $1 million, officials said.
The Lane County Interagency Narcotics Team searched several homes in Cottage Grove, Springfield, Eugene and Roseburg Sunday as part of a multi-month investigation into a drug-trafficking ring, according to Sgt. Carrie Carver of the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
Four men were arrested during the raids and jailed for possession and delivery of meth. Police recovered 52 pounds of meth, a stolen gun, cash and additional evidence of drug trafficking, Carver said.
The investigation was ongoing and more arrests were expected.
