TILLAMOOK – Two adults and two teens were arrested for taking part in several armed robberies around Tillamook over the past several months.
Tillamook County Sheriff Andy Long said the robberies were drug-related. Detectives think the suspects used a knife in at least one robbery, and guns in the remaining robberies.
Police arrested 24-year-old Charles Frederick Seeling, 20-year-old Roberto Allen Aparicio, a 17-year-old a and 16-year-old in January.
They were indicted by a grand jury last week. The two teens under Measure 11 were being charged as adults.
“We get word on the street these things are happening – that’s how these things start,” Long said.
A fifth man, 32-year-old Jentz Nathanial Jacob, was arrested with Seeling on January 24 and charged with possessing methamphetamine, selling heroin and weapons violations.
“We have reason to believe that these suspects have committed even more robberies than are being charged,” Long said.
