3-wheel motorcycle rider in critical after crash

AURORA, Ore. - A 71-year old Oregon City man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash off Highway 99E about a mile north of Aurora Wednesday.

Oregon State Police  said the three-wheel motorcycle operated by Maurice Champ Jr. was northbound when he drifted to the right and traveled off the highway and struck a highway sign.

It came to rest upside down in berry bushes.

Champ was in critical condition at Oregon Health Sciences University.
