PORTLAND – Spring is here and Easter is Sunday. Here's a guide to some of the things you and your kids can do to celebrate around Portland. In addition to the events below, many of Portland's neighborhood associations are sponsoring Easter egg hunts.
The Oregon Zoo welcomes kids to the Rabbit Romp Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., which includes egg hunts every 15 minutes for children 10 and under. There's also a special hunt for kids under two and a petting zoo with bunnies.
Take a 45-minute drive to Skamania Lodge for the Bunny, Egg Hunt and Brunch. Family fun includes games like potato sack races, egg rolling and egg-on-a-spoon races, as well as photo ops with the Easter Bunny himself.
Cedar Hills Recreation Center hosts an Easter celebration Saturday, with an egg hunt and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
