PORTLAND -- A woman suffered a large cut to her arm and lost a braid during a fight over a man that followed an Easter church service, police said.
Officers were dispatched about 2:45 p.m. to Oliver Elementary School in Southeast Portland on a report of a fight between two women, said Sgt. Pete Simpson. The school is used by the Life Restoration Church for Sunday services.
Police found that Anjeanette Marie Brown, 32, had a large cut on her arm and was missing a woven braid.
Naomi Etta Perkins, 30, was arrested for third-degree assault.
Brown was was arguing with Perkins over a man they both knew when Perkins attacked her. Perkins reportedly pulled out a razor blade during the argument, Simpson said
Brown was taken to the hospital for what police described as "a significant injury" to her arm.
