GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Two Southern Oregon men are facing criminal charges in connection with a 2008 helicopter crash that killed nine people, seven of them firefighters.

The chopper, owned by Carson helicopters, went down while fighting wildfires in Northern California.

Most of the crash victims were from Oregon.

The indictment names Carson's former vice president and the maintenance chief.

It accuses them of falsifying the helicopter's weight and take-off power.

If convicted, the men could each face 20 years in prison.
