HAINES, Ore. (AP) — A second-grade teacher at Haines Elementary School in the Baker County town of Haines is Oregon's teacher of the year.
Nanette Lehman was honored Tuesday at a school assembly.
The Baker City Herald reports (http://is.gd/7oRtFp ) she wins $5,000 and will represent Oregon when the national teacher of the year is selected.
