PORTLAND -- A man was robbed by two men at an ATM in Portland's Pearl District Saturday evening and one of the suspects was still on the loose, police said.

The victim told police the men attempted to assault him and demanded his money outside the Bank of the West at Northwest Broadway Avenue and Northwest Flanders Street, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau.

The suspects then fled on bicycles. Police found one of the men, 41-year-old Homer Phillips, Jr., a few blocks away. He was arrested for robbery and booked into the Multnomah County Jail.

The other suspect was described as 5-foot-9-inch tall African-American male, weighing 200 pounds. He has short hair and was wearing a black-and-white checkered shirt.

Anyone with information was asked to email Detective Robert Hollins
