Newberg man critically injured in hit-and-run

NEWBERG, Ore. (AP) -- Authorities say they are searching for a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run accident in Newberg.
Police say the dark-colored pickup hit and critically injured 20-year-old Noah Royce Norton early Friday morning and then left.
Police say Norton was walking home from a Christmas gathering with his wife along a road's icy shoulder at about 2:30 a.m. when he was struck.
Police say Norton was knocked unconscious and suffered a head injury. He is reported in critical but stable condition at Legacy Emanuel Hospital.
