GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) -- A man and woman from Gresham were found dead of carbon monoxide poisoning in a truck in a Gresham garage in what authorities say appears to have been an accident.
Gresham Police Sgt. Mike DeLuc said either they were using the car to stay warm or were trying to heat it up in the enclosed garage.

Residents of the apartment complex alerted the complex manager Saturday, who called NW Natural. A NW Natural worker checked the area with a sensor and picked up carbon monoxide levels near the unattached garage.
Gresham firefighters broke down the garage door and found the apartment tenant, Fernando Hernandez-Dominquez, 50, and Alejandra Gutierrez-Perez, 34, dead inside the truck.
