Water wipes away part of Highway 35
05:20 PM PST on Tuesday, December 4, 2007
It’s déjà vu -- a portion of Highway 35 has washed away again.
The Oregon Department of Transportation temporarily closed both directions of Highway 35 at Polallie Creek, about 12 miles north of White River on Tuesday.
Water washed away a section of the highway at Polallie Creek. Crews will use an excavator and a couple of dump trucks to repair and reopen the highway. Crews expected to reopen the highway by approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
