Portland man killed in rollover crash on I-5

One person was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 late Sunday night, police said.
The crash happened at the Terwilliger exit, around 11:30 p.m.
Police closed all lanes of I-5 at the crash scene during the investigation. Police said they believe the driver had been drinking and was also speeding at the time of the crash.
The busy roadway wasn’t re-opened until 4:30 the next morning.
Investigators said only one vehicle was involved in the crash and the driver was ejected while it rolled.
The victim’s name was released late Monday morning. He was identified as 21-year-old Derek Wayne Scott, whose mother lives in Portland.
