Man found murdered inside Southeast Portland home

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Homicide detectives were called to a home in the 500 block of SE 155th Ave. Saturday morning after someone reported finding a dead body inside.

Just before 10:45 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the home by medical personnel who had responded on the report of the deceased man who was later identified as 54-year-old Roland Jackson Dir.
The Medical Examiner determined that Dir's body had signs of trauma that were not consistent with a natural death. An autopsy was planned for Monday.
Detectives began processing the scene on Saturday night.
