BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Beaverton Police fear an accused rapist may have more potential victims.

Video: Suspect may be serial rapist

Officers said they found assorted pairs of womens' underwear inside the apartment of 21-year-old Silvestre Cervantes-Avila. He is currently in jail on rape, sodomy and kidnapping charges in connection with an attack on November 10.

According to investigators, Cervantes-Svila met the 19-year old woman at a local club. They returned to his Beaverton apartment, where police say, he raped the woman at gunpoint.

Investigators claim, after the attack, Cervantes-Avila let the victim go, but made a point of keeping her underwear.

The victim immediately reported the crime and police made the arrest.

After searching his apartment, police say they found drugs, a gun, but most disturbing of all, additional pairs of assorted women's underwear.

Washington County records showed Cervantes-Avila also faced charges for having and selling cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as an Immigration Customs Enforcement hold.

Anyone with information in the case was asked to call police.
