A U.S. soldier based in Fort Lewis, Wash. has disappeared and her pickup truck was found abandoned near the beach in Lincoln City.

Julie Ann Stendahl has not been seen or heard from in two weeks. Police said her truck was found Tuesday in a public parking lot and there was evidence that it had been driven recently, possibly by someone else.

Stendahl was supposed to return to Iraq on Halloween. Now she is listed as AWOL.

The 32-year old was described as standing about 5’4” tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts or her black 1999 Mazda B40 pickup truck with a matching canopy was urged to contact police.
