Authorities just released the name of the driver who died -- Sydney Renee Diller, 26. Through a family spokesperson, Diller's family said they wanted everyone to know how sorry they were to learn that a young woman in the other car also died in the crash caused by Diller.

Students at George Fox University honored Cara Moran, 22, who was in the car with three friends when she was killed in the collision.

Both Moran and Diller, who was driving a Ford Focus, died at the scene.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Edy Rd and Highway 99 in Sherwood.

Walter Peck with Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue said police arrived on scene to find flames shooting 15 to 20 feet from the wrong way vehicle.

Faven Yidaw of Portland and Kim Cullen and Arianne Reagor from Kelso were hospitalized.

Inside the chapel lobby, students poured their sorrow into words.  They signed poster board sized cards for the survivors.

The small Christian university quilted itself in it's faith.

"No matter what happens we are surrounded by God's love.  Even though we can not understand the reason this happened,  God does and there is a reason," said senior Melody Frederic.

Several Sherwood police officers along with witnesses were able to pull the three of the students out of the car before the flames spread to their vehicle.

The crash was still under investigation.
