Salem teen charged with murder & corpse abuse

SALEM, Ore. -- A teenager has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a man who was killed last month in the Salem area.
Prosecutors added the murder charge against 18-year-old Juan Carlos Silva on Wednesday. He already faces charges of abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence in the death of Salvador Ravalledo-Vivares.
Silva also faces multiple theft charges in Polk County and was being held there.
Three weeks ago, Police arrested Silva and 15-year-old Joyce Yvonne Pequeno.

Pequeno was charged with murder, a crime that would require she be treated as an adult.
