McClanahan’s body was found in the home on SE 141st Avenue in September. A medical examiner said he died from blunt force trauma.
Kent said detectives think the victim let the two suspects into the home, they then planned to rob McClanahan.
The two suspects were charged with aggravated murder and were due in court Thursday afternoon.
So far investigators have not said how the suspects were linked to the victim.
