Washington prisoner dies in Clark County jail

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A 44-year-old old inmate has died at the Clark County Jail in Vancouver.

Douglas Carl Wright was booked into the Clark County Jail on October first.
He was serving sentences that totaled about six months. Charges included five counts of driving while his license was suspended or revoked.
Wright was found dead in his bunk this morning at breakfast time.
Staff used a defibrillator in an attempt to resuscitate him, but he was not responsive.
His death does not appear to be suspicious. An autopsy is pending.
