Passersby told police they didn’t see anything happened and simply found the man lying on the street. He was taken by ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Hospital.
He was listed in serious condition.
Police said the suspect vehicle was a larger maroon sedan possibly missing its antenna. Seconds after the collision, a small black two-door car passed by the suspect vehicle going east. Investigators were hoping to try and speak with whoever was in that car.
Anyone with further information is asked to call the Gresham police.
