Teenagers arrested in Salem murder

SALEM -- Detectives arrested a teenage couple after after a body was found in the woods outside of Salem Wednesday.
Salem Police said the person died in the 4000 block of Earle Ave NE Tuesday. Officers were led to a wooded area outside of town where the body of 33-year-old Salvador Rovalledo-Vivares, also known as Jose Perez-Martinez, was found Wednesday morning.
After serving a search warrant at the home on 37th Av. SE Wednesday, police and SWAT officers arrested 15-year-old Joyce Yvonne Pequeno -- who police said was a runaway -- and her boyfriend, 18-year-old Juan Carlos Silva.
Pequeno was charged with shooting Rovalledo-Vivares to death. Both faced charges for abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence.
