The sheriff's office says Kelly Ray Rasmussen was booked on charges of online sexual corruption of a minor and luring a minor.

Deputies say they believe he began communicating online with a 13-year-old girl in July and an 11-year-old girl in September.

They say he was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Clackamas County "while he was poised to meet with his 13-year-old female victim."

Investigators say that he had traveled to Portland and had taken steps to meet with the 11-year-old on Monday.

Rasmussen owned and operate a travel business in the Medford area, and was allegedly in Portland, conducting business when the Intercept arrest occurred, investigators said.

Bail was set at $150,000.

Rasmussen will be arraigned at 3 p.m. in the Clackamas County Circuit Court, in Oregon City.
