SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- Two 15-year-old girls have been charged in the murder
of a 14-year-old boy in the town of Sutherlin.
The victim, Troy Anderson, had a severe head injury when he was found by
his mother at their home on Thursday. He died at a Roseburg hospital.
An autopsy showed he had been shot once in the head.
One of the two girls was Anderson's aunt.
Police said the house had been ransacked and several hundred dollars
were missing.
They said they got a search warrant for one of the girls' home and found
the missing money and a firearm believed to have been used in the
shooting.
