04:42 PM PDT on Friday, October 3, 2008
WOODBURN, Ore. -- Police Friday names a suspect for a Woodburn shooting that killed two men and seriously hurt a third late Monday night, police said.
Officers responding to a 9-1-1 call about shots fired in the 500-block of Hall Street around 11 p.m. said they found a car with a shattered side window and a body inside. That man could not be saved, they said.
The suspect was identified as 33-year-old Juan Manuel Lopez-Alcaraz.
Police later identified the victims as 36-year-old Ernesto Benjamin Vasquez. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two men, 29-year-old Eduardo Solorio, Jr. and 22-year-old Andrew Thomas Davis, 22, both from Woodburn, were taken to OHSU. Solorio was later pronounced dead while Davis remains in stable condition.
An autopsy showed the two had been shot to death.

Neighbors told KGW the car was parked near a home that they believe is a drug house. Investigators believe the shooting happened in front of that home. They said it did not appear to be gang-related but they were unsure of a motive.
Anyone with information was asked to call police
