Woman killed in crash near Bend

BEND, Ore. -- A woman was killed after losing control of her minivan and crashing along Highway 20 east of Bend Saturday, police said.

Angela Joy Harned, 20, of Prineville, was alone in her van when for some reason she veered onto the gravel shoulder near milepost 58, throwing the van into a roll.
Harned was not wearing a seat belt and she was ejected while the van rolled.
She died at the scene.
A small section of Highway 20 was closed for about one hour during the investigation.
