45,000 in Race for the Cure in Portland

More than 45,000 participants filled the streets of downtown Portland for the 17th annual Komen Race For the Cure Sunday morning.

The starting line for all events is on Naito Parkway near SW Taylor Street and the finish line is at the corner of SW Oak and Naito Parkway.
For the first time this year, there will be a timed 5K run.
People not attending the event were warned that there will be several road closures impacting downtown traffic.
