Escaped inmates back in custody

Two inmates were back in state custody after they escaped from the Warner Creek minimum security facility near Lakeview Oregon on Saturday night.
Staff first noticed that the men were missing around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
25-year-old Joseph Swift and 31-year-old Christopher Sherrod were both serving time at the facility when they escaped.
Swift was located and taken back into custody around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
Swift was serving 127 months for robbery out of Multnomah County.
Sherrod, was located around 4 a.m Sunday and was also returned to the prison. He was serving 70 months for kidnapping out of Lane County.
Warner Creek houses minimum-custody inmates with less than four years remaining on their sentences.
It has a single perimeter fence topped with concertina wire and houses 336 inmates.
