Looks like it's still summer this weekend
02:12 PM PDT on Friday, September 5, 2008
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Summer was set to hold on awhile longer in Oregon with sunny skies and above average temps in the forecast.
KGW Meteorologist Dave Salesky said some patchy fog and morning clouds may dot the Coast, but a mass of warmer air was moving into the area.
And the trend was set to continue into the weekend, with highs on Saturday and Sunday hitting about 86.
That’s 2-3 degrees higher than average.
A high pressure system was predicted to keep out the clouds, with sunny skies through next week, Salesky said.

“Not a drop of rain in sight,” Saleksy added.
Temps were set to cool off a bit Monday, averaging into the high 70s-low 80s.
